E.g. Error 1205: Lock wait timeout exceeded; try restarting transaction

TODO: retry the query (i/u/d) or restart the transaction?

  • slave_transaction_retries (deprecated 8.0.26)
  • replica_transaction_retries (introduced 8.0.26)

Transactions with a non-temporary error are not retried.
