Feature: Checkout bare repo

Hey, is there any way we can use --bare in this action? We can't seem to use run actions to clone the repo without using a PAT.

git clone --bare ${REPO NAME}

It looks like a simple and important feature. Is there any chance to see the pr merged in 2025?
