[BUG] MES icon gets pushed to the right edge at higher font sizes

Describe the bug
The MES icon tries to fit itself into the right edge of the navbar, but conditions can exacerbate this problem:
- If the title of the magazine is very long, it gets inserted by mbin design into
.head-nav__menu .head-title. - If the user has enabled the "Navbar icons as text" mod (links take up more room)
- If the user has explicitly increased the page zoom size
- If the user's own username is very long
- If the user has boosted the font size of elements using the "Change font size" mod
Naturally, the last one is inherently going to cause problems because the font size should not be boosted to extreme amounts. However, a zoom level of about 120% with some of the other parameters above (long magazine title, icons as text) was enough to trigger the MES icon falling outside of the navbar.
Technically, it is inside, but the background color of the menu element does not span far enough.
I'm wondering whether it makes sense to even keep this icon in the navbar, since the mbin design assumes a finite number of elements centered in the middle of the navbar, so using the right gutter is prone to causing problems.
Maybe the MES icon should be sticky onscreen and reside "on top" of the page somewhere, such as one corner? (Might introduce problems on mobile, though.)
