Possible memory leak in LXC container

I am running it on Debian 12 with 1 CPU core and 512MB of RAM with 512MB of swap. It ran fine for a few weeks, but lately I've noticed that it's pegging the CPU at 100% and using the maximum amount of RAM every morning when I wake up.

I bumped it up to 2 CPUs and 1GB of RAM today.

What is the recommended amount of resources to assign to it? Is it possible it has a memory leak, or have I been starving the app as it stays online?
