You can't log in to GFE if you block nvidia in the hosts file

The script blocks nvidia servers in the hosts file. However, this makes it so you can't log in to GFE no matter which method you choose. I had to remove the hosts file changes, log in, and then bring them back.

That is strange, I made sure to trial and test every single host I encountered and the current solution blocks updates while allowing me to login, at least for me. Maybe it's a regional issue, where is your machine located? Could you perhaps troubleshoot which of the hosts is to blame?

I was able login to GFE if I used an email/password. I wasn't able to login if I tried to login with Google. That may be the issue.

I can confirm that one, OP you should be using the NVIDIA login option. If you don't have account yet you need to do it externally using your webbrowser and after that get back into GFE and finally could be able to login.
