Doesn't work in 66.1?
Hi, this plugin doesn't seem to work in Sketch 66.1? I'm trying to use it for the first time. When I click on any of the rectangles, it closes without inserting any text. If I try to change the "Lorem Ipsum" menu to "Xxxx xxx", it closes the main Lippy menu behind it immediately while leaving its two options open. But then re-opening the main menu and clicking to insert text still doesn't work.
Hey Bart, what version of macOS are you running? Can't seem to reproduce this.
Hey! I'm having the same problem in Sketch Version 66.1. I'm on Catalina 10.15.4
@tomas-vaclavek hey I can't seem to reproduce this with the same configuration. Can you try to completely quit and restart Sketch, then try again? Sometimes the plugin gets into a weird cached state but a Sketch restart usually fixes it.
If that still doesn't work could you please post a short screencast of what exactly happens? Thanks!
Huh, this is weird. I've obviously tried to restart everything straight away. No luck. Now I went back to make this screencast for you only to find that the bug seems to be fixed. I don't know if you've changed something, but everything seems to be working just fine! I'll make sure to report if it crashes again, but so far so good. Thanks for the awesome plugin!
Very weird! Anyway, let me know if you run into this weirdness again!
@barts thanks for the video. The plugin will not work when the text layer is in edit mode. Can you try exiting edit mode (either by clicking outside the text, or by typing Escape) and then try running the plugin again with the text layer selected?
Hey, sorry for the late response but the plug-in doesn't work for me even if the text layer isn't in edit mode. Still get the same behavior as the video I attached before whether the text layer is freshly selected or if I put it in edit mode.
