Starting Board to generate separate flow not working

Open Adam-CS opened this issue 9 years ago • 4 comments

Hi, I have several processes on the same sketch page with different and independent flows not connected to each other. The boards that start each process have this naming patten:

  • Home (the first designed)
  • Home Medic
  • Home Housing When I try generating the flow diagram from the 'Home' process all is ok. If I try generating a diagram from the other two it will pick a random artboard of the first flow and generate the diagram from there. It doesn't seem to recognize any board I select of the other two processes. Any ideas?

There was a bug with the dropdown for selecting the start screen, which I assumed to be fixed in the most recent update. Can you please confirm that you have version 2.0.1 of the plugin? Check by going to Sketch > Preferences > Plugins. plugins

If you have the latest version but you're still seeing this issue, could you please send me your Sketch doc? That would be the easiest way to debug. abynimbalkar [at] gmail [dot] com.

Hi Abynim, I had infact the v2.0, I upgraded to 2.0.1 and the problem appears to be fixed! Thanks!

Just a quick comment, with v2.0.1 removing a link seems like it doesn't refresh/redraw the connections. In order to see the link disappear I now need to unlink twice or unlink (connection still visible) and then redraw connections. Moving artboards and then redrawing gives the same result, do it once and you see both the old/new connections, do it again and the old disappear.

@Adam-CS sometimes it gets out of sync if you Hide Connections in one page/document and then come back to a different page where the connections are still visible. When that happens, or if you see any weirdness at all, it's always best to Redraw Connections because that will reset and redraw the most recent state.
