Hi. This quick fix works for my particular use case, see issue #59.

Let me know what needs to be improved to make this a more general feature.

(I noticed that this pull request includes changes to lib/Template/Grammar.pm. I have not modified that file so I am not sure why it got included here. I tried to revert it to original version but I was not able to fix it :( .)
