Open TorokBalazs75 opened this issue 6 years ago • 12 comments

hi Abuharsky, finaly I got my parts and started to work on the project, but unfortunately ran into an issue already. When I try to upload the controlling program to arduino, it fails with missing source-code for max6675, could you please advise? thanks a lot

ooh, no problem, just download this one

https://github.com/adafruit/MAX6675-library

and put it to your arduino library folder or use this instruction

https://www.arduino.cc/en/Guide/Libraries#toc5

hi, so I successfully loaded code on arduino, connected everything together. Now I can communicate with arduino, thermocouple reads temp. However damper open/closes on command, if current temp is 23 and I set target to 30, I would expect damper close and ventillator turn off when reaching target temp, but it doesn't happen so:

also, at first, I used a 5V blower attached to the mosfet, then I wanted to try the 12V blower through the booster connected to mosfet, but only gave clicking noise, then I put back the 5V blower to mosfet, but it doesn't work, so I'm afraid, that something happend to the mosfet :(

Did you ever figure out your damper and what was causing the clicking noise in the blower?

Noise is ok, you hear it because of PWM signal.
