Filter resources based on the matched package

Currently, there is no way to filter resources based on the matched package or package data associated with it. I propose to have this added.

Use case:

  • scan a big codebase with MatchCode
  • notice the vast majority of matches are against the public repo you just scanned itself — you don’t care about that
  • filter out the packages you don’t care about, so you are left with only the matches that are of (to you, human), as yet, unknown origin

I assumed this would do the trick for a package that has “myproject” in its pURL, but it does not: -package_data:~“myproject“
