Extraction Efficiency

I was wondering if there was a way to increase the extraction efficiency of the program. I am currently creating a 50 slide presentation, which takes about 5 minutes to extract into a pdf. I have noticed that the program seems to read through the entire list of layers each time it creates a new page. I may be misunderstanding the program as I am new to python.

For now the simplest work around is to break the presentation into segments and create them individually.
