Multiple workers on gunicorn causes 502 error?

I have one worker gunicorn working with gevent-socketio I get no 502 error. When I put more than one I get a 502 error ? This issue still has not been resolved? or is this my misunderstanding of the framework?

PR #183 looks like a promising change to fix these kind of issues.
