  • Chapter 2: Introduction to Agent-Based Modelling
  • Chapter 3: Designing and Developing An Agent-Based Model
  • Chapter 4: Building Agent-Based Models with NetLogo
  • Chapter 5: Fundamentals of Geographical Information Systems
  • Chapter 6: Integrating Agent-Based Modelling and GIS
  • Chapter 7: Modelling Human Behaviour
  • Chapter 8: Networks
  • Chapter 9: Spatial Statistics
  • Chapter 10: Evaluating Our Models: Verification, Calibration, Validation
  • Chapter 11: Alternative Modelling Approaches
  • Chapter 12: Summary and Outlook
  • Appendix: A Gallery of Applications (i.e. example models)

In addtion we provide:

  • Links to Movies of models used and discussed in the book
  • Links to other resources (e.g. journals, conferences, blogs, etc.) for ABM and GIS.

How to use these resources

Most of the resources, such as presentations and documents, can be downloaded individually through this website. The NetLogo models, however, often need some accompanying data. The easiest way to run the models is to download this whole repository and extract the zip file. Then the models can be run by loading them into NetLogo.
