Multiprocessor Change

My first install of Quast-5.0.2 worked well and I enjoyed a couple of days working with it. For some unknown reason to me it has stopped working. I believe the working version was indicating two processor on my MacBook Pro but since the program has stopped it has been indicating 8 processor. I am a scientist not a programmer and would real like to continue exploring Quest.

Is there a solution for me.
