VS Code 1.88 is not compatible with GitHub Copilot

I upgraded to VS code 1.88.1 and my copilot stopped working. VS Code 1.88 is not compatible with GitHub Copilot

Downgrading VS code to 1.87.2 and switching copilot to a previous version helped to get it working again. By the way, I'm using the Windows x64 build of VS code...
