The oversize of everything is driving me crazy. There is too much unused space and I wish they would make things smaller.

  1. What do I need to change in gnome-shell.css to make the icons in program list smaller too?
  2. How do I donate a buck?

I'm sorry, what do you mean with program list? The list in the left side when you show overview, or the icon grid when you press Super+A.

not to necro a dead thread but this subject is exactly my thoughts. too much padding in Adwaita, and this is a great step in the right direction. I plan on using this as a template for some theme work of my own. thanks, and nice work, @abihf . Hope you don't mind me forkin' it.
