Manifest version deprecated

The project is using Manifest Version 2, Google Chrome has deprecated the Manifest version 2 and all extensions had to upgrade to version 3.

Due to this, when a user loads the extension, Google Chrome gives the following error: Manifest version 2 is deprecated, and support will be removed in 2024. See https://developer.chrome.com/docs/extensions/develop/migrate/mv2-deprecation-timeline for details.
