Support for multiple bitrate videos

I have a video link: http://qthttp.apple.com.edgesuite.net/1010qwoeiuryfg/sl.m3u8

I tested it on "http://hlstester.com/" website and found it supports multiple bit rates. e.g. 3477, 2650, 1927, 1308, 688, 481, 262, 165 kbps.

Please let me know how to enable support for multiple bitrate video. So that we can show option to select any bitrate as given on hlstester.com website.
