Action Buttons Unlabeled For Screen Readers

When viewing Monocle from Aperture (site that I used no longer works, though this happens everywhere), whenever I select an action button to use; like, repost, and so on, screen readers such as JAWS for Windows or NVDA will read them as "#". Not sure why. Should instead read the actual action you're taking such as "repost", "Like", and so on. Let me know if I can provide more information. Also, browser doesn't matter, either.
