Good thinking. I will take that onboard as a feature request. It seems easy enough to grab out of the `head`.

Looks like the Pingback Gem has some edges and has not received any love since 2015. I’m working on it though.

Gonna back this out of 2.3 while I figure that out. I may also take over the webmention Ruby gem and do the integration there. Not sure yet.
