Feed shows t.co text instead of original link

For some time now Twitter has been wrapping all links regardless of length in their t.co short URLs. On their site, the original link shows in the text (even though the link itself routes through t.co), but in the widget on my site it shows the t.co URL instead of my original one.

Can the plug-in be updated to show the original links instead of the t.co ones?
