how to build the tools with executable

i can't find a way to build the tools . generating makefiles from cmakelists give some errors

No idea about cmake, that stuff isn't mine and i don't particularly care about it. i only ever used premake5 and that works fine though you may have to set up some variables when you're on windows (see premake5.lua)

CMake is tested on ci. Check the action logs how we configure and build it there
