[bug] Brightness increases but does not decrease

On Galaxy S24 Ultra, the brightness increases but does not decrease. In the control center, the brightness seems to decrease. I use system brightness. What should I send for troubleshooting?

Brightness can increase. The brightness does not decrease, but it looks like it has decreased in the settings.

OK, I will do my best to find out what problem is it. However it may takes time to reproduce the problem

I just tested it. There is no problem with app brightness. Only system

I saw you are using the overlay. Is that only happened when using overlay only?

The same problem, gradually increasing brightness on Android is fine. Gradually decreasing it will show that the status bar brightness is already decreasing, but the actual screen brightness doesn't change. Also, there's another issue: the value passed in is not synchronized with the brightness in the status bar.
