PHP SMTP Email Sending and Thunderbird Login Issues

Open nothingly opened this issue 6 months ago • 4 comments

I am experiencing issues with sending emails using PHP and logging into my email account with Thunderbird. Here are the details:

PHP SMTP Email Sending:

I am using the following PHP code to send emails via SMTP, but it fails.

I am unable to log into my email account using Thunderbird. I have checked my username and password, but I still cannot connect. Are there specific settings or configurations I need to use in Thunderbird to connect to the billionmail SMTP server? Questions:

Does billionmail support SMTP connections from PHP scripts? Are there any specific configurations required for Thunderbird to log in successfully?

If necessary, I can provide further details from my log files. I would appreciate any guidance or assistance you can provide.

As shown in the picture, I choose custom on SMTP, and then the customized server is the local machine. Can it be used as an SMTP server connection?

Of course. You can use any SMTP server to relay your BillionMail.
