Using another IP error
I assigned another publish ipv4 ip to my server after installation. I've spent over an hour playing with various configs and made it work and availble under the new ip and port http://<new_ip>:5679/
If I add a domain and revised the dns records to point to new ip where required. In the panel when I click Doman > Dns Records, the modal still shows the old ip under all dns records I should configure. I've searched in all places on how to change this because I assume this old ip can impact other logic in the software. I can't find it anywhere. I've tried everything from clearing reddis cache, to search env files to postgres settings. It looks like the install.sh is not pulling or storing the ip anywhere. I can only assume that Linux picks the primary source address on the interface, so on a multi-homed host it may choose the wrong one.
I don't want to play with ip tables as I have other website and hosted on the same server configured to the old ip.
How can I update the ip so that the new software wherever needed uses the new ip?
If this is impossible now, can you point me to the file responsible for this logic. I will simply hard code it on my end.
Thanks
ok I decided to go the iptables route and got it working but it required reconfiguring the server. Consider some setting to define the IP somewhere
On multiple IPs in one server. BillionMail cannot select secondary IP for domain in currently, we plan improved it in futute.
