Windows 11
Struggling to get the game to work on my new laptop, which unfortunately came with win11 (had no troubles on my old win10). Does anyone know how to make it work on 11, or am I screwed? Downloaded the needed files and my locale is in jp.
AA2 is exactly the same in Windows 11 as it is in Windows 10 Any problems you may have should be unrelated to that detail. I suggest you should look for help in the dedicated communities that exist for AA2. Good luck!

Tried the workaround and the directions do not apply to windows 11. All other workarounds or combinations of scripts do not work. Adding and registering d3dx9_42 does not work. All windows 10 solutions do not work. This seems to be a situation with Windows 11.
Is there a way to do this or is this something I will just have to wait for?
i have a similar problem, but for me the app launches, loads shows a white screen, then crashes, no matter what i do or what i install, i feel like trying to get my windows 11 back into a windows 10 because its just been nothing but a headache at this point

@geneishouko i did that on my windows 11 computer, did not work, now im having same problem with windows 10😢 im using the AAUminiPPX V2.7z which uses AAUltimate v1.6.0 if that helps at all
