agfm - Boot into XP Installation ISO?

Open toddfraser88 opened this issue 3 years ago • 5 comments

I'm using agFM as part of an Easy2boot USB drive and I'd like to boot into an XP ISO using agFM because it uses grub2 whereas Easy2boot would normally use grub4dos.

The reason I would like to use grub2 over grub4dos is because grub2 has an ACPI table patching command that would be useful for getting XP to work.

However, when I attempt to boot my XP ISO through agFM I just get a "File not Found" error and I'm not sure how to fix it.

any help?

Why not boot to E2B - then agFM - then run ACPI command(s) - then press F3 and boot to hd0,msdos1 - then run XP ISO from E2B?

Oh, I was not aware that I could do this (grub4dos->grub2->grub4dos)

This solution should work fine, Thanks very much.
