Check Internet Connection

Hi Andrey,

I installed Version 35 (Build 35) on Android 7 on an LG G5 2 days ago from the F-droid repository.

I started 1 download but at some time or other it became Paused and I could not Resume it.

Yesterday, I started a second download and it was functioning correctly until I paused it after which I again could not reume the download.

When I attempt to Resume them, I receive the message you can see in the 1st attached image. However, the Internet Connection is fine as I can access other Internet resources.

I can connect to the emule-security.org server, ED2K Connection Status is On and Searches can be performed.

Internal Storage was being used when I initiated the downloads.

Whilst the second download was executing, I installed an unused MicroSD card to which I was going to transfer the large files. It was automatically formatted as Portable Storage which I have since learnt is the normal process for phones which do not support the formatting of cards as Internal Storage. This did not interrupt the second download.

On inspecting the MicroSD card with a File Manager, I was surprised to discover that it contained Directories with the same date as when I inserted it but, as I mentioned in the previous paragraph, this must have been a result of the formatting.

Does Android also automatically create Directories for active apps? One of the Directories was "document:///content://com.android.externalstorage.documents/tree/3064-3238%253A?/Android/data/org.dkf.jmule". Under that Directory is 1 Directory named "files" which contains an empty "external" Directory.

Is it standard behaviour for Android to continue to create Directories for newly opened apps on a MicroSD card?

Internal Storage contains the following Directory:

/storage/emulated/0/Android/data/org.dkf.jmule

It also contains 1 Directory named "files" which contains an empty "external" Directory.

In the following Directory there are 2 files which are for the uncompleted Downloads. See the 2nd screen capture I took.

/storage/emulated/0/Download

Thanks, Michael.
