Allow Every Door to stay on the screen after locking the phone
In addition to the fact that it saves time, it is relevant on phones that do not have fingerprint unlock or in winter, when the fingerprint does not work (or you are wearing gloves), and it is more difficult to type a password.
This is similar to how navigators behave when they guide you along a route (for example, Organic Maps or OsmAnd).
I'm worried that it would introduce ass-typed POI into OSM. Nothing bad comes from misusing navigation apps, but when you accidentally unlock an osm editor and start adding and editing points...

In addition to ass-typing noted above, given that EveryDoor is mapping app (and not something that can be used without interacting with screen, like navigation app could be), if it is already difficult to type a password, it would be much more difficult to use Every Door at all (especially as all positioning, smaller icons etc. need much finer precision than entering a PIN or unlock gesture)

One workaround which might help you is to pin the app (bring up the recent android apps window, and press on "pin" icon). That will make the EveryDoor pinned, with a side effect that turning the screen on or off won't be asking for a password (so you can just press the power button or double-tap the screen to use EveryDoor immediately). Only trying to switch to some other app will ask for password (and disable pinning).
There are also apps like WaveUp which might allow you to wake up phone in different ways.
