Phone and URL tidying
This is just a suggestion for a "nice to have" feature, probably not essential.
A number of phone numbers and URLs are correct but poorly standardized. It would be nice to tap something to add the international dialing code to numbers that don't have it, and to remove unnecessary parts of URLs. By unnecessary parts, I mean like Facebook links which start with "m." for the mobile version (can link desktop users to the mobile site), or links that have crud at the end like ?source=google_search&referral=1 where lots of attributes have been added by the provider for tracking purposes. (Not everyone knows you can delete those parts and have the URL still work)
Having thought about this further, any URL filtering should only be done on URLs which have a standard tag like Facebook, Wikipedia, etc. It is technically possible for URL attributes to produce a unique page - a lot of ASP.NET sites still do this even though it has fallen out of favor over time. It is also possible for someone to create a site that only works with a certain subdomain as annoying as that may be for end users. Really the main concern is just the tracking/referral attributes in social media links which can be removed
It work at least for french phone numbers 😃
