Calendar from PIM not refreshing properly

I created an event in the widget in a Calendar logined in PIM. However, I can see the event in Korganizer and Kalendar, but can not see it in this widget. It only shows events from Google Calendar. I have enabled PIM plugin and selected the corresponding calendar and refreshed it.

Unclicking PIM plugin and re-clicking it somehow solves the problem. Screenshot_20220422_145742

I have a similar issue. I enabled PIM events, but on reboot, the events don't appear, and I have to manually reactivate the PIM events plugin for the items to show up. Less than ideal, but not sure if it's a bug with Akonadi or with the widget.

Update, when an event is edited, it also needs to reactivate the PIM event plugin to see the change. It seems that currently the widget only loads the event from PIM once.
