Problem to link the config lua config.lua

Im on a Ubuntu server im tried on many ways and cant link config.lua and XMLs and always get doc have currently not been loaded into the website by the server admin. In path i use '\home\user\Otxserver-New' also tried with '/home/user/Otxserver-New/' .I have to do an other step more?

$config['server_path'] = 'home/user/Otxserver-New';

I had to cache it manualy, i thought it was automatic via $config['server_path']
