[ACTIVE] A queue with a single receiver and if there is no receiver, the commands are enqueued.
Command Queue
The command queue lets you register a single receiver, and while there is no receiver, the commands are enqueued.
Using Command Queue
In order to use Command Queue, you need to add jitpack to your project root gradle:
buildscript {
repositories {
// ...
maven { url "https://jitpack.io" }
}
// ...
}
allprojects {
repositories {
// ...
maven { url "https://jitpack.io" }
}
// ...
}
In newer projects, you need to also update the settings.gradle
file's dependencyResolutionManagement
block:
dependencyResolutionManagement {
repositoriesMode.set(RepositoriesMode.FAIL_ON_PROJECT_REPOS)
repositories {
google()
mavenCentral()
maven { url 'https://jitpack.io' } // <--
jcenter() // Warning: this repository is going to shut down soon
}
}
and add the dependency to your module level gradle.

Please note that CommandQueue is used as internal implementation detail for both EventEmitter
and LiveEvent
, if those suit your needs better.
