One Piece has wrong title and metadata not resolved

Open CloudCees opened this issue 2 years ago • 13 comments

Hello,

I am a long time happy user of this agent/scanner but since I updated hama/ASS to the newest version (today) because of the 1000 episode bug, One Piece is not getting resolved anymore. Please see screen shot below:

image

As you can see the anidb id is included in the title while the folder only has "One Piece" as name. I added two logfiles that looked relevant to me.

One Piece.agent-search.log One Piece.agent-update.log

Just want to let know this bug is still valid for me

CloudCees avatar Jun 20 '22 20:06 CloudCees

One Piece.agent-search.log show proper anidb id 69 found

One Piece.agent-update.log show metadata at the end. Photo show metadata not updated, so agent crash during processing (can reach the end so not the case) or Plex issue, possibly corrupted database

Hello there,

If nothing you try seems to work, below are what I use on my One Piece setup and it's always worked well with ASS and HAMA. Granted it uses TVDB4 instead of AniDB. This does mean it uses the custom mapping of the arcs provided by Zero's ASS.

My folder is called One Piece [tvdb4-81797] and contents are basically all the episode files in the main directory and the movies and specials in the Specials folder like so (blurred personal stuff and potentially unnecessary parts): image

This gives me the following in Plex: image

Hope the above helps, but like I said it comes with the 'caveat' that it's tvdb4 instead of anidb.

Hmmm what do you suggest to do? Is there log that should confirm that it is crashing? Should I follow these steps:

With kind regards,

Wow what a concrete answer. I am gonna test this before going for the corrupt database research. I will come back for the results

This did not help. I also got the id after the title with this solution: image

I tried to diagnose the database with the steps in the link below with PRAGMA integrity_check but it tells me 'ok', the tool is telling me that I don't have a corrupt database.

What to do?

I'm sorry to hear this didn't work, all I could suggest more is doing the Plex Dance and trying it again (as that tends to work for me when it doesn't resolve things and keeps the ID there). But aside from that I'm not able to assist further, my apologies for that.

Good luck, I hope it can get figured out!

Thnx! I will try that again :) I will come back again for some results. Thnx for helping.

Okey, I tried the plex dance and it is much more out of control. I deleted the library (emptiing the library did'nt removed the series), did the empty trash, clean bundles, optimize database and created the library again. Following was scanning the library files.

Now more shows are not correct anymore.... This is a shot from somewhere in the middle of my library:

What can I do more? I am running Plex on a Synology DSM 7 nas

Hey ZeroQI,

I have attached the logs with the folder structure as found. For the series I have only selected the OnePiece logs because of that not all the series are showing problems. If you need more I will attach more series logs.

Hello,

Just want to let know that I still appreciate any help with the logs. Don't see this as a call for hurry.

CloudCees avatar Jul 25 '22 20:07 CloudCees

Hi @ZeroQI Could you please have a look at this again? I still have this same problem.

That's a scanner issue as the season and ep number is wrong. First part of the readme:

Absolute Series Scanner (ASS):
If all video files are showing in plex at the right season and episode number, the scanner did its job. Please view ASS readme here: https://github.com/ZeroQI/Absolute-Series-Scanner/blob/master/README.md

Make sure you run the latest scanner code: https://github.com/ZeroQI/Absolute-Series-Scanner/blob/master/Scanners/Series/Absolute%20Series%20Scanner.py

Line 71 Change:

cic(ur'^(?P<show>.*?)[ _\.]-[ _\.](EP?)?(?P<ep>\d{1,4})(-(?P<ep2>\d{1,4}))?(V\d)?[ _\.]*?(?P<title>.*)$'), # 2 # Serie - xx - title.ext | ep01-ep02 | e01-02 with: cic(ur'^(?P<show>.*?)[ _\.]-[ _\.](EP?)?(?P<ep>\d{1,3})(-(?P<ep2>\d{1,3}))?(V\d)?[ _\.]*?(?P<title>.*)$'), # 2 # Serie - xx - title.ext | ep01-ep02 | e01-02 change the folder content, re-scan and check in "Plex Media Server > Plug-in Support > Data > com.plexapp.agents.hama > DataItems > _Logs > One Piece.scanner.log" if it does show correct season and episode number

ZeroQI avatar Nov 10 '22 15:11 ZeroQI

@ZeroQI Thnx Benjamin! It looked like it works now. Does the change has other impacts on the working of the scanner? Are you going to persist the change in the master?

I hope you can hold up the motivation for maintaining ASS/HAMA with my donation.

CloudCees avatar Nov 14 '22 15:11 CloudCees

some numbering mostly tv series used 4 digits SSEE like 1013 for s10e13 but that's a bad naming convention... Now with Detective conan and One piece, we need support for 1000+ eps There should be no other issue than dropping SSEE numbering format, so i can live with that
