Ship tarball for Linux builds

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. Files on Linux need to be chmod +x to execute. Zip files can't encode this, so I have to manually chmod +x a bunch of stuff to get it running.

Describe the solution you'd like Ship a tarball (.tar.gz) instead.

Describe alternatives you've considered I suppose you could ask people to manually mark all the binaries as execute in the README, but that's unpleasant.
