Seafloor orders still go on the surface
The cursor points at the sea surface, and order queue nodes are drawn on the surface. But underwater units go to the location directly below that point, which is away from the cursor or the drawn order node.
There is a setting for seafloor units to draw a line pointing to the surface, similar to how aircraft can point to the ground:
A big caveat though is that you can have multiple units selected (or have multiple queues shown) and each unit can live at a different depth:
- surface ship.
- seafloor amph.
- some constant depth submarine.
- technically each submarine can have its own depth.
So it's not easy to make the cursor point at the seafloor in a context-dependent way or even to draw a line from cursor/order to some depth like above.
