Current State of Development
Why there has been little development?
The amount of work I put into something in my spare time is proportional to the amount of time I haven't worked on it. I keep track of ideas that I have and of things that I need to do. As time goes on the list of ideas I have and things I want to do with the project grows and I learn more. Using what I learn I improve the design of my old code and implement all my ideas in one big productive and quiet afternoon. After that the cycle repeats and eventually the code converges on what I think of as good code.
What does this mean for updates?
It means that I'm extremely busy this semester, and even if I weren't I would take time to think a bit about big changes. Updates are likely to be large, but far between. Occasionally I'll come back and work for a little while implementing a few ideas so I can get a better idea of the structure of my current idealization of the code. In general though, that's going to be the cycle.
Closing words
I check this repository very often and am keeping an eye on a growing number of interesting open source projects that I want to learn from. It might take some time, but eventually I want to make this into something cool.
