A bit of a hack, but i've got around this issue by retrieving the maximum number of decimal places from a given dataframe using the following code adapted from [here](https://stackoverflow.com/questions/69553270/how-to-count-the-number-of-decimal-places-in-dplyr-for-multiple-variables)....

I'm working on this at the moment and will submit a pull request when I find the time to finish it off, here is a barebones function in the meantime....
