GA 540 (Fall Line Freeway) number is rendered without shield
On the map, the number 540 is marked without a shield.
Unlike GA 520, GA 540 is signed with a "normal"/default Georgia black shield.
There is a route=road
relation mapped for GA 540. It seems to be tagged with network=US:GA:GRIP
instead of the expected network=US:GA
for Georgia State Routes. Is this intentional?
Wikipedia says "officially signed as SR 540 on September 24, 2018". The relation has been network=US:GA:GRIP
since forever; was changed from future_ref
to ref
in 2021 but the network wasn't updated.
Honestly, US:GA:GRIP (Governor’s Road Improvement Program) sounds pretty similar to US:ADHS (Appalachian Development Highway System), mapping routes by legislation instead of by signage.
There are 18 network=US:GA:GRIP at the moment; it looks like 540 is the only one that needs to be retagged at this juncture but someone with more knowledge could take a look.
