Not so sure about this whole marking everyting but fundamentally it would be the right thing, flag spots at very least! ctf5 already does that btw..
I think the way ctf5 has its flag spots marked with use of unlockables is optimal.
An asymmetric flag by logic would requiere an asymmetric holder  edit: doesn't seem to look bad from detail pov, put the holder straigt in the game.png file so it...

I really don't like how the markings cover up the ears :/
