Copy speed slow?

I don't know if this is an issue, but is it normal that it's really slow to copy data from an external USB to the internal HDD?

In my case with a 128GB SSD as USB drive and a 500GB SSD internal i'm getting around 6-8 MB/sec.

The ps3 have a usb2.0 port so, the theoretical maximum speed is 53MB/s.

On my computer the maximum value I saw was around 30MB/s. On the ps3, the maximum value I saw is around 20MB/s, with multiMAN, compiled with the official SDK. With ManaGunZ, compiled with psl1ght, the maximum value I was able to get is around 14MB/s.

I think the issue come from psl1ght but I'm not sure of it....

Anyway, 8MB/s seems to be slow, I'll see if I can fix it..
