There is a workaround using "Show extension builder" and switching the "access all" property. Then, unless you are an Apple Developer, you can use the modified extension "until you quit...

Extra parent level in ch-multi example code

Anything new? At least this bug shows up when searching for "org.sonatype.mavenbook.multi:parent:pom:0.8-SNAPSHOT" when people encuounter this problem. Workaround by @apjanke worked :) Thanks.

It behaves the same (buggy) way in Chrome also. I'll ask sb on windows to check.
