Improve readability of elements

Part of #44

The existing color scheme of OSM makes it difficult to follow for some users. The proposed color changes look modern and readable - matching the NextGen design.

The goal is to:

  • Change color schema of elements to make them more readable
  • Check for potential stylesheet issues
