Transfer rate / speed / performance while up-/downloading not really good

General question, would anyone like to trouble shoot the bad performance of the Yunohost Nextcloud setup? I would love to see higher upload and download speed, but I have no idea which caches would need tweaking.

My server is idle when I up- or download lots of data, but the speed is very bad, so I think there is some settings that need tweaking, the server has 50GB free RAM and CPU cores are barely used. Transfer speeds rarely go past 10MByte/s but usually just are at 3MB/s.

I changed the setting of the Application php pool, which I guess reloads or most likely restarts the pool, that increases the speed for some time. So just switching the setting back and forth seems to help temporary.
