Retrieving GIF image data from the users camera roll

You guys have really done a stellar job with this open-source project. I was wondering how I could retrieve gif data from the gif images saved on the user's camera roll?

Any update on this? I also want to select GIF from photo library but it's not working. please fix this.

@s4cha what about this? do you consider enabling support for GIFs picking from photos gallery?

how do you tell if a UIImage returned from the picker is a GIF?
