I can see it in the personalization tool and in windows and have the drivers installed. Was told to create an issue here.

Thank you for the report. This seems related to #26.

Okay, not only that...I have confirmed it is not working with Yubikey NEO either? What steps can I document to help expedite this? Trying to sell this as the token at my company. Will the CLI tool work better?

@emlun I've been told this is a WHQL signature issue. Do you have a timeline as to when this will be fixed?

huzzeytech avatar Oct 27 '17 16:10 huzzeytech

I'm afraid I don't have a timeline at this time, no. Does the yubico-piv-tool CLI (included in the installation directory) detect the YubiKey? For example, what output does yubico-piv-tool.exe -a status give you?

This issue is ongoing as i have the same issue with a Nano on MacOS Sierra. In the YubiKey Manager, the key is detected as a YubiKey Edge with firmware 4.3.7 despite being a YubiKey 4 Nano.

Nano should have PIV available; however, it does not and is not detectable via PIV manager.

@billyjbryant At first glance it looks like this may be a non-standard YubiKey from a special order that actually doesn't have PIV. Please contact our support team, they should be able to help you further to figure out if that is the case or not.
