If make distclean, should I make menuconfig again?

If "make distclean", should I "make menuconfig" again? which options should be "Y"?

When I make distclean, I found "openwrt-imx6-default-rootfs.tar.gz" is built in /bin/target rather than "openmptcprouter...rootfs.tar.gz".
