OK, it was to be sure AES was available. Can you do the same on the VPS ?
ok, both seems to have AES, check in System->OpenMPTCProuter, wizard tab, "advanced settings" check box, that AES is really used.
I think it's due to high load average, but I don't know what you get so high load average...
What is the speed now using ```omr-test-speed``` ?
