[Feature Request] Compare time with other Users

Type: Feature Request Description: I think it would be nice, if you could compare / compete with other people on the same trackboard on who listens the most. The result could be displayed in a list with the time each user has listened in the selected time-frame.

Hello! This is an interesting feature to be able to compare statistics with other people. Few questions need to be resolved. Does people registered to your (or everyone else) instance wants their data to be "public" to anyone registered to the same instance? Would this be interesting for every stat or only specific ones?

Moreover, I did not build this application with this idea in mind since I feel like my data is quite private and comparing stats results in a competitive mood does not fit with music listening.

I'll think about this to see if there what is the good way toward an implementation that allows comparing.

Maybe explicitly allowing in the settings with whom you want your data to be shared with would be a great step toward the privacy issues.

Yea this should definitely be a opt-in feature. Additionally I would not recommend to publish all data. My idea was to only publish the time spent listening. (this one. A bit like in Spotify Wrapped, were it tells you, that you have listened more then xx.x% of others in your country.)

Additionally I would update the time once a week, so there is no way to stalk through updating the website, on who is currently listening. And it is probably a good idea to make this per instance and not collective for all instances, so not everyone has access to all of this data.

Also sidenote: I completely forgot about privacy when posting this request. Oops, sorry, mistake on my part. I 100% agree that this could be an issue. And while I personally think, that it would be interesting to be able to see more of other peoples Spotify stats, I am against the idea to make so much info public.

This is an interesting discussion. I support the idea of an opt-in feature that allows users to compare listening time with others. However, I would also suggest adding a leaderboard showing how much time each user has listened, enhancing the competitive aspect of this feature. This could provide a fun and engaging way for users to interact with the app and with each other.

Another feature that could be considered is a comparison of music genres. This would allow users to see what genres are most popular within their community, adding another dimension to the comparison aspect.

I strongly agree with the concerns about privacy. I believe each user should have the ability to enable or disable this feature in their settings. This way, users who are not comfortable with sharing their data can opt out, while those who want to engage in this kind of social interaction can opt in.

On a related note, I'm planning to add these features in to my fork of this project. However, I'm still building my skills and don't have the necessary experience yet.
