Pro:

  • makes the assembly faster and easier (for some)
  • cheaper bill of material
  • smaller pcb
  • use of ATMEGA328P directly, no useless components (like arduino's led , buttons or usb driver)

Cons:

  • makes the assembly harder (for some)
